Lulu Group International hands over AED 467,271 cheque donation to Dubai Cares in support of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene facilities in Schools (WASH) programs

Lulu Group International, the fastest growing UAE-based retail chain, has handed over a AED 467,271 donation cheque to Dubai Cares at its headquarters in Dubai, that was raised through a charity campaign held during the Holy month of Ramadan. The campaign which was organized in partnership with Dubai Cares, invited customers to donate AED 1 or more at checkout, towards Dubai Cares’ Water, Sanitation & Hygiene in Schools programs in developing countries. These essential programs aim to provide basic low-cost water and sanitation infrastructure that is essential for a healthy, hygienic and safe learning environment in developing countries. The cheque handover was made by Salim M.A. Director of Lulu Group International to Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Cares. Speaking about the generous contribution made by Lulu Group International, Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Cares said: “Once again, we are very thankful to Lulu Group International for their generous contribution and for supporting Dubai Cares’ Water, Sanitation & Hygiene in Schools programs which will certainly make a valuable impact on the lives of children and young people in developing countries.
