Lulu Group joins hands with Dubai Cares to adopt a school in Gaza

Dubai : Lulu Group has teamed up with Dubai Cares to adopt a school in Gaza, Palestine. The project aims to improve early childhood care, education and development for children aged 3 – 6 in remote and disadvantaged communities in Gaza. Early Childhood Development is defined as programs and services for parents and children from conception to eight years of age in the field of education, health, nutrition, protection, and sanitation. Dubai Cares will be involved in upgrading and equipping a pre-school with all necessary infrastructure, in addition to helping in literacy and teacher training for children in the age group of 1 - 2 years. Very few young children in Gaza and the West Bank have access to early childhood development programs and services with less than one third enrolled in preschools. By adopting a school, Lulu will be supporting over 100 children.
