Lulu Walk 4 Wellness 2016™ draws massive participation in UAE

The 4th edition of ‘Lulu Walk 4 Wellness’, the annual CSR event of Lulu Group International, was conducted at Zabeel Park, Dubai, UAE, on 26th February amid much favor and enthusiasm. With an objective to create awareness about diabetes, this free for all event saw huge participation from all sections of the society. The walkathon was flagged off by H.E. Charitha Yattogoda, Consul General of Sri Lanka, and Mr. Salim M.A., Director of Lulu Group. Mr. James K. Varghese, Regional Director of Lulu Group (Dubai & N.E), and other officials of Lulu Group were also present. Lulu Hypermarket conducts various charity programmes all throughout the year, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. As a part of this event, various informative and fun activities were also conducted for the families who participated in huge numbers. The provision for free diabetic screening test for the participants was also arranged at the venue. The event enjoyed a strong public support, with participation by various nationalities from all across the UAE.
