Ramadan Food Kits launched in UAE

Lulu Group has launched Ramadan Food Kits in UAE. There are big and small Ramadan food kits to meet the requirements during the holy month of Ramadan. It is sold less than its actual rate. Dr. Hashim Al Nuimi – Director, Ministry of Economy, inaugurated the function. The big kit contains 20 different kinds of food items priced at Dhs. 130 and the small kit contains 12 items priced at Dhs. 90. Lulu Group Retail Director - Mr. T.P. Abu Backer and Regional Manager – Mr. K.P. Thamban, addressed the function held at Lulu Hypermarket, Al Barsha, Dubai. Lulu Group exposed this kind of food kits during the holy month of Ramadan, in the previous years as well. Basmati Rice, Oil, Vegetable Ghee, Oats, Sugar, etc. are the contents of the kit. Dr. Hashim Al Nuimi praised the initiative taken by Lulu for giving good quality products at less rate to the customers in this holy month of Ramadan. The prices of about 5000 products has been reduced during the entire period of Ramadan, which includes the prices of 130 products fixed for the year 2016. All together, 25 million Dhs. will be spend for Ramadan offers, in understanding with the ministry of economy, as part of our CSR activities.
