Lulu Partners with Xiaomi to Deliver Innovative Tech to the GCC
Abu Dhabi: Reinforcing its commitment to broadening access to innovative global technology, Lulu continues to support leading tech brands by bringing advanced products to customers across the region. As part of this effort, Lulu has signed a MOU with Xiaomi to strengthen cooperation in retail and marketing.
Senior officials from Xiaomi, led by Zeng Xuezhong, Senior Vice President of Xiaomi Group, visited Lulu’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi and held discussions with Lulu management today, on extending long-term cooperation. The partnership focuses on improved in-store customer experience, and joint marketing initiatives for Xiaomi’s range of smartphones, televisions, and digital electronics.
Lulu will bring the latest Xiaomi products closer to customers across its stores through structured displays and dedicated experience zones, allowing shoppers to explore and experience cutting-edge technology firsthand. As part of the collaboration, Xiaomi will provide product training and on-ground retail expertise to enhance customer engagement and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
The MoU also sets out a joint strategy for marketing activities during key promotional periods, including new product launches, Ramadan, Eid, and major campaigns. These initiatives will be highlighted through in-store branding and e-commerce digital platforms, ensuring customers can access Xiaomi’s innovative products at attractive prices across Lulu stores in the GCC.
The MOU was signed by Zeng Xuezhong, Senior Vice President of Xiaomi, and Ashraf Ali M.A., Executive Director of Lulu, in the presence of Liang Yang, General Manager of Xiaomi; Saifee Rupawala, CEO of Lulu; Salim M.A., Global Operations Director; Mohamed Althaf, Director of Lulu Global Operations and Chief Sustainability Officer; Salim V.I., Chief Operating and Strategy Officer, V Nandakumar, Director of Marketing and Communications and other senior officials.
