ERC receives AED1 million donation from Lulu Group International

The Lulu Group International added a new crown by giving a donation of AED 1 million to Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) to support the ERC’s humanitarian and development programmes. This is in connection to the group’s offer to provide an amount of AED 10 million over a period of 10 years. Mr. Yusuff Ali, Chairman of Lulu Group International, presented the donation cheque to Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary-General of the ERC in the esteemed presence of Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, Deputy Secretary-General for Local Affairs at the ERC and Mohammed Yousef Al Fahim, Deputy Secretary-General of Support Services. Mr. Yusuff Ali stated that the group is proud of its strategic humanitarian partnership with the ERC and its efforts to comply with its social responsibility, as well as its cooperation with its humanitarian partners, most notably the ERC. Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi expressed that strengthening the ERC’s partnership with national organizations is one of its major goals and will enhance its capabilities, with the support of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the ERC. The ERC has adopted initiatives and ideas to gain the support of donors for its humanitarian causes, and due to its effective planning, it has established constructive partnerships with the private sector.
