Lulu Group hands over 'Lulu Walk 4 Wellness' donation to Dubai Autism Center

In line with the 'You Walk, We Donate' theme of Lulu Walk 4 Wellness 2014, Mr. James K. Varghese - Regional Director, Lulu Group (Dubai & N.E), today handed over the cheque to Mr. Mohammed Al Emadi - Board Member & Director General of Dubai Autism Center, in a ceremony held at Dubai Autism Center. Lulu Walk 4 Wellness, a Lulu CSR initiative was held on 21st February 2014 at Zabeel Park, Dubai, with a dual objective to Create Awareness to beat Diabetes and Support for Austim Center. Lulu Group had committed to donate AED 10 per participant to Dubai Autism Center. There were 6000 people from across the Emirates of UAE participating in this initiative, which was free for all. The event was also supported by Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police Anti Narcotic Department, UAE Red Crescent Society and Indian Media Forum. Mr. Farhan Shahid - Events & Project Manager, Dubai Autism Center, Mr. Elvis Chummar - President, Indian Media Forum, and other officials from Lulu Group were also present during the function.
